Despite being born to a poor wagon maker and experiencing an awfully tough childhood, Joseph Haydn received music lessons at the age of six years. Charles Gounod, the son of a painter, received music lessons from his mother during his childhood. He received a private education and went on to study at the Paris Conservatory. In he was awarded the Rome Prize and decided to travel to Italy to study the music of the old masters.
In he left Rome and headed for Vienna before travelling through Berlin and Leipzig and finally back to Paris where he took the position of church choir master and organist. His other famous work is the melody with lyrics from the Ave Maria, which he wrote in in C major for the prelude of "Das wohltemperierte Klavier" by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Dostal also composed church music. In he was appointed as the band master at Theater an der Wien. His acquaintance with Johann Strauss Jr. His works include more than 50 theatrical plays, music pieces for films and more than songs and orchestra pieces. Beside his four symphonies he mainly composed chamber music, concerts, song works with orchestras, piano and organ music, piano and choir songs, serenades and the "Hungarian Dances".
Born into a family of musicians, Beethoven began lessons with his father at the tender age of four years old. At the age of 17, he travelled to Vienna, the music capital of Europe at the time, to study with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and later with Josef Haydn. Celebrated as a star, Beethoven was able to earn more that any other artist of his time. A hearing condition led to his deafness in Together with Sebastian Bach, Mozart was an undisputable musical genius. By the age of four, Mozart could already play the piano and in he began composing his own works.
Mozart became a musical child prodigy. He and his father, Leopold celebrated further success during a three-and-a-half-year concert tour across Europe. Further tours through Italy were to follow from to , yet they failed to recreate the success that had come earlier. Mozart used the time between the tours to compose.

His compositions comprised over works. In he was awarded an honourable doctorate of music by Oxford University. Johann Schrammel performed mostly as an orchestra musician in various Viennese theatre and saloon orchestras. After the stock market crash in he founded a trio together with his brother Josef Schrammel. He later formed the famous Schrammel Quartet. Along with Johan Strauss Sr. Kern 3.
